A beach hut at Southwold (7.5 miles) is available to rent by the day. The hut is approximately 200 yards from the wonderful Southwold Millennium Pier on North Beach, meaning it’s close to amenities including toilet block and the Pier restaurants, ice-creams & activities.
Recently refurbished, it is fully equipped with folding chairs, table, 2 ring hob & grill and includes gas, cutlery, crockery, saucepan, kettle –clothes, linen line, cleaning equipment/products etcetera + coffee, tea, sugar. A water tap is nearby. No electricity though. Cars can be parked behind it (council parking charges apply, alas), making the lugging in and out of beach gear reasonably painless. Attractions within 5 minutes walk are: Boating Lake, Restaurants, Café’s, Gift Shops, Mini Golf, Amusement Arcade, Life Guard Station, Punch & Judy, beach walks – and pubs are just a 10 minute walk away!
